Locations

A location is a place you sell or fulfil orders from. Even with a single outlet you'll have one location; if you run several branches, each is its own. Locations power your pickup, delivery, item availability, orders and earnings.

Add a location

  1. Go to Locations and click Create a Location.
  2. Under Details, fill in:
    • Location name (required) — note it "can be edited up to 3 times every 12 months", so choose carefully.
    • Description (optional) — up to 400 characters.
    • Time zone — set to Africa/Lagos (WAT).
    • VAT (optional) — pick any VAT rate(s) you've set up to apply here.
  3. Under Address details, fill in:
    • Address, City, State, and Zip Code (all required).
    • Country is Nigeria.
  4. Under Contact information, fill in:
    • Email (required) and Phone (required).
    • Instagram (optional) — your IG profile link.
  5. Under Business hours, set your opening times (see the next section).
  6. Click Save. (An empty list shows "No Locations Found!".)

Set your business hours

In the Business hours section of a location:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to each day you're open (e.g. Monday). Unticked days are treated as closed.
  2. For each open day, set an Open and a Close time.
  3. Need split hours (for example lunch and dinner)? Click Additional hour range to add another Open/Close row for that day; use the ✕ to remove an extra row.

Edit or delete a location

  1. Go to Locations and open the location's actions menu (⋯).
  2. Choose:
    • Edit — update any detail, then Save.
    • Delete — remove the location.

How locations are used across the dashboard

Once set up, a location appears throughout Tabeet:

  • Orders — filter orders by location.
  • Catalog → Items — make each item available at chosen locations, and set its Out-of-stock Locations.
  • Catalog → Catalog Availability — schedule categories per location.
  • Pickup / Delivery — choose which locations offer each, and set delivery areas and fees per location.
  • Transactions — view earnings by location.

Running multiple locations

If you sell from more than one place, add each as its own location so orders, items, delivery areas and earnings stay organised per branch. Most pages have a location filter so you can focus on one branch at a time.
